HB 1388/PG 412-20: Prince George’s County – Public Safety Surcharge

FOR the purpose of providing that a certain Prince George’s County Public safety surcharge amount is for certain residential housing constructed in an area included in a certain plan or an area that abuts an existing or planned mass transit rail station operated by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit  Authority or the Maryland Transit Administration, instead of requiring the surcharge to be for both areas;  and generally relating to the public safety surcharge in Prince George’s County.

HB 1283/PG 312-20: Prince George’s County – Alcoholic Beverages – Cigar Lounge License

FOR the purpose of providing for a cigar lounge liquor license in Prince George’s County; authorizing the Board of License Commissioners for Prince George’s County to issue a class B–CL license to a tobacconist under certain circumstances; authorizing the holder of the license to sell beer, wine, and liquor for on–premises consumption; authorizing the holder of the license to make and serve food in a manner commensurate with a Class B license; allowing for Sunday sales; authorizing the license to operate in a certain geographic area; defining the annual cost of the license; including the licensed business in exclusions to the Health Article section 24–505; and generally relating to liquor licenses in Prince George’s County.

HB 1409/PG 411-20: Prince George’s County – Marriage License Fees – Distribution of Proceeds

FOR the purpose of requiring the Director of Finance for Prince George’s County to distribute certain proceeds from a marriage license fee to the Community Crisis Services, Inc.; requiring certain proceeds from a marriage license fee to be used to fund battered spouse shelters and domestic violence programs if the Community Crisis Services, Inc., changes its name or objectives or ceases to exist; and generally relating to the distribution of proceeds from marriage license fees in Prince George’s County.

FOR the purpose of establishing that certain provisions of law authorizing the use of speed  monitoring systems in certain residential districts apply in Prince George’s County;  establishing that a school zone speed monitoring system in Prince George’s County  may be used in a school zone with any speed limit; and generally relating to speed  monitoring systems in Prince George’s County.

HB 1072/PG 410-20: Prince George’s County – County Income Tax- Credit for Primary and Specialty Health Care Providers

FOR the purpose of authorizing the governing body of Prince George’s County to allow, by law, certain primary or specialty health care providers to claim a tax credit up to a certain amount against the county income tax under certain circumstances;providing that the tax credit is allowed against the county income tax only; authorizing the governing body of Prince George’s County to provide for certain matters relating to the tax credit; requiring the county to notify the Comptroller by a certain date if the tax credit is authorized; requiring the Comptroller, in consultation with the Prince George’s County Office of Finance, to adopt certain regulation; defining a certain term; providing for the application of this Act; and generally relating to a county income tax credit for primary and specialty health care providers.

HB 433/PG 309-20: Prince George’s County – Office of the Sheriff – Response to Report of Alleged Domestic Violence – Authorization

FOR the purpose of authorizing a law enforcement officer from the Prince George’s County Office of the Sheriff to respond to a report of alleged domestic violence under certain circumstances; authorizing the Prince George’s County Office of the Sheriff to coordinate with certain other law enforcement agencies to carry out the provisions of this Act; and generally relating to the response by law enforcement to requests for help from victims of alleged domestic violence.

HB 434/PG 408-20: Prince George’s County – Payment in Lieu of Taxes Agreements – Multiphase Economic Development Projects and Sunset Repeal

FOR the purpose of authorizing the owner of an economic development project and the  governing body of Prince George’s County to enter into multiple payment in lieu of  taxes agreements for different phases of an economic development project; providing  that the term of an agreement may not exceed a certain number of years from the  date a certificate of occupancy is first issued for any phase of a project that is covered  by an agreement; providing that construction of any phase of a project that is covered  by an agreement must commence within a certain period of time after entering into  the agreement; providing that all conditions for the financing required for the  construction of a phase of a project must be satisfied or waived within a certain  period of time after entering into the agreement; repealing the termination provision  for certain provisions of law authorizing Prince George’s County to enter into  payment in lieu of taxes agreements for certain economic development projects; and  generally relating to payment in lieu of taxes agreements in Prince George’s County.

PG 503-20: Prince George’s County – Elementary School Students – Daily Physical Activity

FOR the purpose of requiring that a student in a Prince George’s County public elementary school be provided a certain daily program of physical activity each week totaling a minimum number of minutes; requiring the program of physical activity for a certain category of student to be consistent with a certain program for the student, if applicable; requiring a Prince George’s County public elementary school to designate a certain group to plan and coordinate certain activities; requiring the Prince George’s County Board of Education to adopt certain regulations; requiring a certain  elementary school to provide a certain notice to the county board on or before a certain date; authorizing a public elementary school to apply to the county board for  a certain extension; establishing the termination date of a certain extension; and  generally relating to elementary school student health and fitness in Prince George’s County.

HB 275/PG 306-20: Prince George’s County – Speed Monitoring Systems – Maryland Route 210 (Indian Head Highway)

FOR the purpose of repealing the requirement that certain revenue collected by Prince  George’s County as a result of violations recorded by speed monitoring systems on  Maryland Route 210 (Indian Head Highway) be deposited into the Criminal Injuries  Compensation Fund and instead requiring that the revenue be credited to the State  Highway Administration to be used solely for certain safety–related purposes related to Maryland Route 210 in Prince George’s County; repealing as a funding source for  the Criminal Injuries Compensation Fund revenue generated as a result of violations  recorded by speed monitoring systems on Maryland Route 210 in Prince George’s  County; and generally relating to the use of revenue generated as a result of  violations recorded by speed monitoring systems on Maryland Route 210 in Prince George’s County .

For the purpose of establishing that a certain referral to the Maryland–National Capital Park and Planning Commission is deemed approved under certain circumstances only if there is a complete submission that can be adequately reviewed by the Commission; requiring the Commission to notify a certain submitting entity within a certain period of time regarding whether a certain submission or amendment to a submission is complete and accepted or rejected as incomplete; requiring the Commission to provide certain information to a submitting entity under certain circumstances; requiring the Commission to act on a certain amended submission within a certain period of time; authorizing a submitting entity to give certain notice to the Commission that the entity is unable to provide certain additional information on a certain submission through reasonable means under certain circumstances; requiring the Commission to consider a certain submission as complete and take certain action within a certain period of time; defining a certain term; and generally relating to the Maryland–National Capital Park and Planning Commission and mandatory referral review.
